The holidays will be here before you know it so you don’t want to wait until the last minute to get into your favorite party outfit. People are always writing and asking how to look and feel younger. They are tired of feeling lethargic and feeling bad about themselves. I totally understand, especially when there is an event coming up. Whenever I am getting ready for a photoshoot or TV appearance I have to pull out my Emergency Hot Body Plan. Now keep in mind this may be too strict for some of you because I eat and train like this all the time, but if you really want to feel and look your best, these tips are healthy, you’ll get fast results and you and feeling fit, and amazing by the time the holiday roll around.

Tip # 1 – STOP The Sweets, Yes all candy has to go!

Cut out all sugar. You can celebrate your new body with chocolate after your special occasion.

  • Eliminate all white flour foods
  • Do not eat carbs after 7:00 PM
  • Don’t drink fruit juices or juice-based products

Tip # 2 Fiber Up and Get Your Colon Moving
Did you know that you could have up to ten pounds of fecal matter stored in your digestive tract? It sticks out and makes your belly look round and lumpy. Make it a target to eat 25 grams of fiber per day. This can come from cruciferous vegetables, fruit, and whole unprocessed grains Freeze strawberries and other berries and snack on them. They take longer to eat and you can just pop them in your mouth like candy.

Tip #3 – Power Up The Protein
Eat 4- ounces of protein at each full meal. When you get hungry and want to go on a snack rampage; STOP everything you’re doing, get your mind on your goal and eat a few ounces of protein to tide you over until your next full meal.

Tip #4 – Drink Like A Sailor
Keep water with you so that you can get in your four quarts of water daily
Drink green tea liberally, it helps burn more fat.

Tip #5 – Hit The Cardio
Get in five days a week of 45-60 minutes of cardio a week to burn the fat.
Make sure to include lightweight training to help firm your muscle and tighten the skin. It would be counterproductive to be in a big muscle building (size increasing) phase while you are working towards reducing your body size.

Tip #6 – Visualize to Realize
Keep your goal (your favorite outfit) out and visible at all times. If you find yourself getting bored, stressed out, or depressed, get refocused on your goal and not on the problems. Also use exercise, journaling, and uplifting music to change your state and stimulate your mood.
