Before I answer, here is some information about cellulite you may not be aware of:

  1. Cellulite is spongy dimply, toxic, unsightly, and unhealthy trapped fat deposits under the skin. It develops as spillover. LOL! It’s fat that wouldn’t fit anywhere else on your body.  Your body can develop intramuscular fat from a poor diet, lack of cardio, lack of muscular training, hormonal imbalance, and genetics. When intramuscular fat capsules reach their max, it’s spillover time and the fat cells continue to grow and multiply (eeekkkk) and then travel looking for space to fill and it continues until it is trapped and settles unevenly under the skin.  How mean!  Amazing though, that our bodies are so sophisticated that they show us what’s going on so we can change it! YAY!!
  2. It impedes circulation, creates unsightly spider veins, and cottage cheese, and orange peel-looking patterns appear when you sit or put pressure on it.
  3. It interrupts circulation so your skin does not get the proper oxygen and nutrients it needs to regenerate and rejuvenate. Thereby creating uneven bumps, lumps, uneven skin tone, rashes, and even eczema. That sucks.
  4. It needs to go away now! It is not good for your body appearance or your health. The reality is, that cellulite is unhealthy life-robbing fat and you want to do all that you can to get rid of it. It is a clear sign that the area is lacking circulation. Imagine a stagnant pond or a body of water that just sits. Algae and impurities gather and could wreak havoc in the future. AAAAHHHH! OK, so you know you have to kick it to the curb. Love the cleanse and the way my skin feels!

Step by step instructions: Hold a pair of dumbbells at arm's length next to your sides your palms facing each other. Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart and brace your core. (A) Step backward with your left leg. Then lower your body into a lunge.

#9 – Basic Push Up

Step-by-Step Instructions: Place your hands firmly on the ground, directly under your shoulders. Pressing your toes into the floor to stabilize your lower half. Tighten your abs as if you are preparing to take a punch. Squeeze your glutes and flex the knees. Keep your back flat so your entire body is neutral and in a straight line. Keeping your back flat and head aligned with your body, lower your body until your chest nearly touches the floor. Don’t let your butt dip or stick out at any point during the move. Your body should remain in a straight line from head to toe. Draw your shoulder blades back and down, keeping your elbows tucked close to your body. Keeping your core engaged, exhale as you push back to the starting position. That’s one rep! Repeat as many times as you can without breaking your form. Tips: A good rule of thumb, is if you can do 10 good push-ups, you are in excellent shape. Push-up is one of the most difficult exercises around, so don’t beat yourself up at the beginning if you can’t do a lot of reps.
