Did you know that you can be thin, but not lean? The definition of being lean however is measured by overall body composition. This would be denoted by a low percentage of body fat vs. the percentage of lean mass (muscle and bone). You may be surprised to know that thin people quite often are not lean at all. In fact, many thin people have a much higher body-fat percentage than you might think! In this article, I will share with you how to get lean just in time for the holidays with 7 pre-holiday lean body hacks you can start now to help you look stunning this holiday season.

Hack #1 – Create A Healthy Gut To Speed Up Metabolism

A lean beautiful stunning body shape starts with a healthy gut. Taking a probiotic supplement can help your body clear out toxins, chemicals, and preservatives found in the foods you eat so that your body can better utilize nutrients resulting in a faster metabolism.

Hack #2 – Add Resistance Training to Your Workout For Faster Results

A lean body workout routine consists of both cardio and resistance training. Many people omit resistance training because they think it will make them look bigger. Many people will walk, jog, and bike for fitness but resistance training is just as important because aerobic exercise will develop little to no muscle, and developing your muscle is what helps you burn fat. The American College of Sports Medicine recommends resistance training 2 to 3 times a week.
