Fuel Your Muscle Burn The Fat – The Magic Of Protein
The rise of veganism and vegetarianism has given eating animal protein a bad rap. Regardless of the social and moral implications of different eating preferences, the need for adequate protein is vital for fat burning. Why? It’s because of two things: You need to fuel your muscles. Muscle is one element that speeds up your metabolism. Have you ever followed a diet perfectly and exercised like a maniac and got zero results? The main reason is due to the amount of protein you are eating. Exercise takes adequate protein for you to tap into your fat stores. Another reason is that it doesn’t turn to glucose in your blood making all the calories burned to digest it go toward burning fat. It doesn’t matter your food preferences as long as you get what YOU need as an individual. Here is the formula for determining how many protein grams you need to eat a day:
To find out your protein needs, first, take your current weight in pounds and by dividing your weight by 2.2. Next, multiply this number by 0.8 if you are sedentary, or 1.2 and 2.0 if you work out at least 5-6 times a week, are pregnant, recovering from an illness or surgery, or are involved in intense weight endurance training.
Example: a 154-pound woman who is exercise 4-5 times a week and includes weight training:
154lb/2.2 = 70kg
70kg x 1.5 = 105 grams (use a range between 1.2 and 2.0 and adjust if you are not getting results)
Then multiply your weight in kg times the number of protein grams per day.
It is always important to check with your doctor or registered nutritionist to make sure getting this amount of protein is appropriate for you.

When it comes to fruits, the less the better. 1-2 fruits per day and make them low in sugar also like berries.
