Top 10 Foods For Tight Skin
Hello Summer! This is the time when we are in the sun the most, taking vacations, attending weddings, meeting our summer love, and more. It also is a time when more of our bodies are exposed and we want to look good in shorts, crop tops, sleeveless tops, and bikinis. But, what if you feel like you would rather hide behind your body because of loose skin, especially around and under your eyes? If you are someone who hates eye bags, creepy, crepey eye wrinkles, and crow’s feet, you’ve made it to the right blog, the perfect place to find out how to tighten skin under the eyes with the top 10 foods that tighten skin. Here is an email one of my readers sent me recently.
Hi Victoria!
Thank you so much for all the information you give in your newsletters! Every week I learn more and more information on how to take care of my body, tighten my skin, how lose weight, and more. The problem I need help with is the skin under my eyes. When I was born, I had natural bags!! I know, awful! People were always asking me if I was tired. As I got older, it was one of my body issues that ruined my self-esteem. After a drastic weight loss, I got eye surgery on the upper and lower of my eyes (underneath my eyes to remove the excess fat pads they made the bags). Afterward, I was a new person! Now, the area under my eyes looks “crepey’ when I smile. It is very noticeable. I’ve tried different creams and skin-tightening serums, but they are not getting better. I don’t think another surgery is the answer. Can you please advise me on how to tighten the skin under my eyes and also all over my body?
Sincerely, Bonnie
Hi Bonnie,
Thank you for being a fan of my newsletters! I’m so glad you find value in what I share each week. I get what you are talking about in regards to how to tighten the skin under the eyes, especially that loose, saggy, wrinkled crepey skin that is ruining your smile! The skin under the eyes is very thin. That’s why it wrinkles easily. Also, the skin where there are fewer sebaceous glands tends to have deeper wrinkles according to a study in Japan when you had surgery, they tightened the muscles and cut off excess skin to make the skin flat and firm. As the years go by, it starts to get loose. A blepharoplasty is costly and there is a long recovery time for healing if you choose to go this route. However, nothing will last long term if you don’t create a “fountain of youth” internally for tight skin in the first place. Hydration is KEY! Drinking plenty of fluids helps to speed up metabolism, toxin processing, and nutrient delivery and improves skin elasticity. You can also tighten your skin with food, especially foods loaded with vitamin C. Let me share with you how to tighten skin under the eyes with the top 10 superfoods!
Why You Have Wrinkles
Vitamin C is an antioxidant that is extremely vital to your health and your skin. Since most people don’t get their daily recommendation of at least 7-9 servings of fruits and vegetables daily, it is no wonder people have hormone imbalances, diabetes, high cholesterol, and loose wrinkled skin.
We have been programmed to think that oranges have the most Vitamin C., therefore you may think that drinking orange juice will help give you your recommended up to 2,000 mg a day, but 1 medium-size orange only provides 90 mg. Drinking juice won’t get you there and besides it is loaded with sugar and can make you gain weight and who wants that? Yes, oranges are one of the top 10 foods to tighten skin.
