The Spinx Pose – This pose helps to strengthen and elongate your core, stomach, and spine. However, this pose is for at least 2 months postpartum. It’s important to keep your elbows close to your sides as you lift and extend your back. Drop your shoulder to relieve stress and draw your chin towards the back of the neck. Take a deep breath and hold for a 2-6 second count when executing the pose. Exhale as you lower your body to the floor.

There’s nothing that demonstrates strength more than the warrior’s pose. In addition to strengthening and reshaping your abdominals, it’s a pose that will always leave you feeling secure and confident!

The Warrior Pose – The warrior pose improves balance and concentration as well as giving you a tighter burn along with the outer hip muscles. Make sure to tighten and engage your abdominals. Lift your back leg as high as your body will allow while keeping balance by stretching your arms out to the side. If you have cellulite, this pose is optimal in getting rid of those pesky lines.

Your belly will hug up to the spine as you hold the pose.4. On the next exhalation, press your back down towards the floor as you raise your head and look forward. Hold until the next inhalation and then return to the arched position.

The Corpse Pose or Dead Pose – Lay on your back on the floor with your knees bent, feet flat on the floor. Arms at your side. Inhale through your nose to the count 4. As you exhale breathe out through your mouth to the count of 4 completely emptying your diaphragm until your abdominal wall collapses into the pelvic floor and it goes flat or hollow. As you are able to control the hollowness of your abs, you will be developing a flat midsection. Once you master that, apply it to your favorite abdominal crunch series.
