Stairs/Steps
Place your one foot up on a step 6-8 inches high, gradually step up and down staying on one side. Then switch legs. Do 3 sets of 10-15 repetitions per leg for 3 sets. If you don’t have a step, use your stairs or porch.
Side Leg Lift
Lie on your right side, with your right knee bent, left leg out straight, resting upper body on the floor. Squeeze side thigh and side buttock and lift up and down for 20 reps, turn over and repeat on another side. Do 3 sets of 20 reps per side.
Squat
Stand with your feet wide holding a light medicine ball in front of you in both hands. (A) Start with your legs shoulder-width apart and toes pointed outward and medicine ball over your head. (B) Bring the ball down as you squat down moving your rear back and keeping your knees over your ankles and lower the medicine ball to the floor keeping your head up. Repeat.
Stand with your feet 2 feet apart, and place your hands on the knee, then bend your left knee and lunge to the side to the left side and hold for one count, then repeat to the right. Do 3 sets of 20 repetitions – 10 reps each side.
