The Lose 7 Pounds In 7 Days Post Holiday Pig Out Day Detox Plan Tips
1. Detox Your Diet – Eat To Lose By Following A Low Glycemic Diet
Many people are mentally addicted to the diet industries method of weight loss, which is starving yourself thin. The reason why you don’t want to do liquid detox fasts is because you will regain the weight loss as soon as you begin eating normally again. Most liquid starvation detox diets make you lose your muscle and not fat so when you gain back the weight you are gaining more fat on top of the fat you already have!! Aaahhhh! Another reason why you don’t want to starve yourself is because you can totally ruin your metabolism by reducing your calories too low. What you end up losing is your muscle mass, which determines your metabolism. Muscle burns fat, so you want to follow a detox meal plan where you eat foods that help your burn more calories resulting in burning more fat. Remember this very important fact: muscle doesn’t weigh more than fat, but muscle takes up less space than fat. 5 pounds of muscle is very small compared to 5 pounds of fat, so it’s advantageous to focus on losing fat not only weight. In order to lose 7 pounds in 7 days here is your basic detox plan to lose weight and belly fat fast.
Protein. In order to lose fat and weight quickly, you have to eat protein. Protein not only keeps your muscle mass, but it fires-up your metabolism and makes you a fat burning machine! You want to make sure the protein is as pure as possible, meaning not a combination-type protein (like from beans, cheese, nuts, and grains). Combination-type proteins are great for overall health, but not if you want to DETOX! Pure proteins are proteins from whey, lean cuts of beef, chicken, fish, turkey, eggs and egg whites.
Low Gycemic Fruits and Vegetables. Eat fruits and vegetables that are low-glycemic. I explain this fully in my free jump-start eBook that I include with all my products. However, for this article, I’ll explain it in a nutshell. You want to eat green leafy veggies like: spinach, broccoli, kale, Brussels sprouts, dark-green lettuces, celery, and asparagus. Fruits that are lower in sugar are; apples, all berries, grapefruit, lemons, and limes. Fruits like melons, oranges, bananas, pineapple, mangos, and papaya are higher in sugar and you want to avoid them during the 7 Pounds In 7 Days Post Holiday Pig Out Day Detox Plan if you want to lose weight and belly fat fast.
Here is a sample day:
1-2 eggs cooked any style or protein shake.
Lunch: 4-6 ounces of protein (baked, broiled, steamed) or protein shake, 1-2 cups of green veggies.
Dinner: 4-6 ounces of protein (baked, broiled, steamed) or protein shake, 1-2 cups of green veggies.
Dessert: 1 cup of fruit
Basic Protein Shake recipe:
1-2 scoops of whey or plant protein powder
1 cup of water or unsweetened 30 calorie almond, cashew, or rice milk
1 cup frozen mixed berries
1 tsp Matcha tea (optional)
1 cup ice
1 serving stevia for sweetness
Blend in a blender for 2-3 minutes. Serve and enjoy
Stay away from all starchy carbohydrates like potatoes, rice, beans, bread, nuts, and dairy. Stay clear of all processed foods and meats. Eliminate all sugar! And limit your salt intake. DON’T skip meals (this will lower your metabolism and your body will think its starving resulting in less weight loss). Do not consume alcohol.
Special Note: Take your body measurements also. Losing inches is almost more important than losing weight. If you lose weight and no inches, it means you have lost muscle. 2. Detox Faster With Skinny Detox Tea
Drinking teas designed for weight loss can be very effective in helping you to lose weight faster. However, many of them use herbs that stimulate your colon which can be very painful resulting in diarreah and dehydration. These teas are not healthy. The common herbs that do this are senna. According to National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, senna’s active components, known as senna glycosides and sennosides, act as an irritant inside the colon — enhancing peristalsis or the muscular contractions of the intestines. In addition, these active components keep more fluid in the gut, soften the intestinal contents and stimulate the bowels to empty. 3. Do These 7 Fat Blasting Cardio Exercises For Ultimate Weight Loss, Fat Burning & Detoxing
You can do all 7 exercises over the course of 7 Pounds 7 Day Post Holiday Pig Out Day Plan or choose your favorite moves. These 7 cardio moves burn the most calories, while toning, firming, and sculpting your body for ultimate weight loss. Workout out 30 minutes to an hour is sufficient. Choose an exercise and session time that works best with your fitness level.
Walking – Walking is one of the most easiest workouts you can do. Its free, you can do it any where and anytime. A recent British study found people who walked for regularly weighed less than those who did more intense workouts. Is walking boring? Choose different routes and put on your favorite ipod tunes to keep you feeling pumped!
Stairs – Walking or running a flight of stairs can help you burn up to 1,000 calories an hour. Yet, stair climbing can be intense. Start small. Begin with a 10 min stair climbing session and work you way to longer workouts. Each 60-minute session could burn roughly 532 calories per session, which will equate to about 2,218 calories burned in a week’s time. With that pace, you’d be able to burn about one pound in a week and a half. You can do stair climbing on a stair-master at the gym or you can find stairs almost anywhere; office buildings, parks, sports stadiums, you name it.
Rowing – Rowing machines are great for burning tons of calories. Though it seems as if you are only working your arms and shoulders, in actuality, you are using your entire body. A rowing machine workout burns up to 500 calories. You can find a rowing machine in most gyms or you can purchase a home rowing machine making it convenient to get your workouts in.
Kettlebells – A kettlebell is a cast iron ball with a handle attached to the top of it . This design makes kettlebells different from training with dumbbells because the weight of a kettlebell is not distributed evenly, thus creating the need to counter balance and stabilize during your workout. Kettlebells come in many weights so start at a comfortable weight with simple moves.
Cycling – Cycling or bike cycle riding is a great workout that almost anyone can do, especially if you have joint problems. You can ride your bike outdoors, ride a stationary bike, or take a spinning class at your neighborhood gym. Riding for 30 minutes to an hour burns at least 650 calories.
Jump roping – Jump roping can be fun, energizing, and can burn up to 250-500 calories an hour. A simple 10-20 minute jump roping routine can be done just about anywhere and can be done with the whole family. Make it fun by jumping to your favorite tunes. This form of workout is not recommended if you have knee or hip problems, but it’s a great way to strengthen both your upper and lower body and improve your cardiovascular system.
HIIT – HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. Any of the exercising mentioned can be turned into a HIIT routine. Short on time, choose 2-3 of your favorite workouts and condense them into a 20-minute intense HIIT workout.
4. Shrink Fat Cells And Lose Weight Faster With DIY Detoxing Body Wraps
Anti-Cellulite or detoxing body wraps are a cosmetic procedure, which is meant to create a greenhouse effect in problem areas of the body using special wrapping clothes or specialty wrapping material. Generally, body wraps is a procedure done by professionals in day spas, but they can be done at home too. You can lose fat and cellulite from your thighs, arms, waist, butt and even under your chin when done properly.

Weight Loss Body Wraps

Mix the components, apply on the skin with massage movements (abdomen, buttocks, thighs), cover with a film and leave for 3 hours; put on warm clothing or underwear. It can help you relax and manage not only stress, but anxiety too. There are many styles, forms, and intensities in yoga. It’s best to start with simple basic relaxing moves. I love doing these moves at the conclusion of my day to help relax both mind and body. - Controlling your breathing is an important part of yoga. Yoga teaches that controlling your breathing can help you control your body and quiet your mind.
- Meditation or relaxation.In yoga, you may incorporate meditation or relaxation. Meditation may help you learn to be more mindful and aware of the present moment without judgment.
The health benefits of yoga
The potential health benefits of yoga include:
- Stress reduction.A number of studies have shown that yoga may help reduce stress and anxiety. It can also enhance your mood and overall sense of well-being.
- Improved fitness.Practicing yoga may lead to improved balance, flexibility, range of motion and strength.
- Management of chronic conditions.Yoga can help reduce risk factors for chronic diseases, such as heart disease and high blood pressure. Yoga might also help alleviate chronic conditions, such as depression, pain, anxiety and insomnia.
Here are 7 of my favorite De- Stress Yoga Poses:
Child’s Pose: This is a resting posture that quiets both mind and body. It benefits both the nervous system and lymphatic system, helping to detox your body. Kneel on a yoga mat with legs together, sitting back on heels. Hinge forward until chest rest on your thighs with forehead on the mat. Curl shoulders forward and let hands rest. With your palms up next to your feet, hold for 5 breaths.
Bridge Pose: This pose provides a gentle stretch of your back and legs. It reduces anxiety, fatigue, backaches, headaches, and insomnia. It’s also therapeutic for high blood pressure. Lying on your back, bend knees and place feet shoulder with apart hip width; slide arms alongside your body with palms facing down (fingertips should lightly touch the heels). Press your feet into the flour, inhale, and lift your hips, rolling your spine off the flour and keep your knees apart. Press your arms and shoulders into the floor and lift your chest and engage legs and buttocks to left hips higher. Hold for 4-8 breathes, then release on an exhale, slowly rolling spine back to the floor.
Standing Forward Bend: This pose stretches hamstrings, thighs, and hips and thought to relieve stress, fatigue, and mild depression. To do this pose, start at a standing position, exhale forward and bend knees enough to bring palms flat to the floor with head pressed against your legs. Feel your spine stretch in opposite directions, as your head pulls down and in, then press your hips up and straighten your legs to deepen the stretch. Hold for 4-8 breaths, then bend knees, inhale arms out to sides, and raise arms and torso up back to a standing position.
Extended Triangle Pose: This pose is an excellent stress reliever and full body stretch. It helps digestion and may lessen symptoms of anxiety and relieve sciatica pain. Start from a standing position then exhale, spreading your legs and placing them 4 feet apart from each other. Stretch your arms out sideways with palms facing down. Turn right foot out at a 90-degree angle; turn left foot in toward the right. Tighten thigh muscles, turning right thigh outward. Bend your body from hips toward right leg. Twist your body to the left, making sure both side remain long. Push right hip slightly forward while lengthening tailbone toward your heel. Keep right hand on your ankle, shin, or the floor and stretch left arm up towards the sky. Keep head straight or turn it slight to the left. Hold this position for 30 seconds.
Leg Up The Wall Pose: This pose helps to detox and renew your blood system. Sit with hips against the wall and roll onto your back, taking legs up the wall. Your buttocks should be pressed as close to the wall as possible and hold for 5 seconds while gently breathing long deep breathes in and out.
Puppy Pose: The puppy pose helps to open your hear and helps counter slouching shoulders due to stress. Start on all fours with shoulders stacked over your wrists, hips stacked over your knees and the tops of your feet relaxed down on the mat. Slowly walk hand out, lowering chest toward the ground, keep your hips over your knees with arms shoulder distance apart. Gently release forehead to the mat. Activate your arms by pressing your palms down and reach hips up toward the ceiling. Invite your neck to relax and breathe into your back, lengthening your spine in both directions. Remain in the pose for 5-10 breathes, then gently lift forehead and walk palms back toward your body, returning to all fours.
Cat Pose: The cat pose is similar to the puppy pose in that you start on all fours. It is used to soothe and stretch your lower back, relieves stress and massages your spine. On all fours, exhale, drawing the belly to the spine, round your back toward the ceiling. Release the crown of your head toward the floor and gently tuck your chin to your chest. Draw and release 4-5 times inhaling and exhaling with each release.
